Selam, I'm Kevin! I became fluent in Turkish after studying at the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) in Ankara as a Fulbright Study Grantee. I completed my MA in the joint Turkish-German Masters Program in Social Sciences, where I wrote my thesis on domestic Turkish politics.
For the past five years, I've worked in the refugee protection space in cooperation with Turkish civil society organizations, traveling frequently to Türkiye. I'm delighted to bring my familiarity with the Turkish language and culture to new students, breaking down the 'secret formulas' to building true fluency.
